i seldom remind myself to tune in to suria except for those najibali production shows..
but i love this show. best.
in tonight’s episode, there was a scene where putri was in the dr’s office discussing about HIV and unprotected sex with her friend. somehow that doesnt at all pass off as icky or overdrama. or make me want to change channel like the show before it when things like that are discussed. eventhough sometimes it looks like an extended version of 3R, the directing is tight, the actors good looking and the acting ver natural.
can suria please continue with season 2 when it’s done?
and i also need someone to get me the g&g the movie, vcd

i’ll rush home on tues after tuition just to catch this. when the cast speak english, it’s v natural n not buat2 like most malaysian drama swasta.
yusof haslam has a thing or two (or MORE!) to learn about making drama/film yg natural, berkesan and ada moral!

Hehe! Best kan G&G! I liked it so much, especially the Zie /Rafidah girl. She is brilliant with her scriptwriting! My husband had withdrawal symptoms when Season 1 ended on the malaysian channel!

for the acting, directing and scripting. (i realised last nite when putri said ‘i love you’ to reza she use the word ’sayang’ instead of ‘cinta’..’cinta’ has always sound cheesy to me..lol)
i especially love sasha (jambu & spunky!) and putri (macam reese witherspoon in legally blonde tapi tak blonde). zie is cool too..she was in 3R also rite? liked her from then.
i know a show is good when i totally dread the ending and cant wait for the next episode!
i doubt anyone uses “cinta” in real life. if i needed to say it…i’d say it in english ah. in malay sounds so jiwang rite? hehe. but yes, sayang sounds less cheesy/jiwang
eh…i also justttt discovered the existence of this show! watched it for d first time last week…hehe

OMG Is!!! i love this show too! i’ve been “secretly” watching these show tau. my other malay friends say “i-tak-cool” coz i watch malay dramas!! wait till they know what they are missing!! hehehe!!
mebbe itz the powerful castings like shazzy, fazura, sharifah amani, the 3r hosts etc etc, and the scriptwriting laaa…very natural, tak menyeleweng!! hehehe….
and ouh i love watching 3r too! been watching it since the original hosts (rafidah, azza n yuen) were on the show….!!!
oh ok ok, i think im getting uber excited here!!! hehe!!

Yup Yup Zie and those other 2 are also from 3R. I think Zie writes the script for 3R too! I love it when she switches to her loghat when speaking to Ikan…
And I digress…You might like the story ‘Cinta’ too. Have u caught it on dvd or cd? I was waiting for it to be shown in the cinemas here, but it never came I guess…or I may hv missed it, tak tau lah. Its a compilation of a few short malay stories, focusing on love. Loosely connected. But very nice lah…I liked it.

Mustafa banyak orang punye fabret store eh! I go there for breakfast at 7.45 am almost every alternate days. for the masala tea, toast and egg. And i will be happy for the rest of the day! haha!
I don’t really fancy sharifah amani though…nothing personal.

g&g wins coz of its powerful, creative production crew. they won some award at some film festival or something…for the movie.
somemore…got marina mahathir involved in the production…dun play play hor.
but at times, the cast bebual mcm 17 yr old american gals. other than that…acting is natural. limkokwing uni is one cool uni too. was tempted to enrol before hahaha.
oh,that fazura gal is prettier in person. the guys couldnt take their eyes off her.

one good thing abt this series/movie kan..dorang bebual english tak ada telo melayu kan…
