NAC-ExxonMobil Concert In thePark series, finally came to our side of the island! while i’ve been to a few concerts in the park events, nothing beats one which is so close to home..and especially one for the family

it was held at pasir ris park last sunday. my cousin and her kids were suppose to join us, but they couldnt make it at the last min…it was still fun, and arshad enjoyed himself.

pasir ris is our favourite park, nevermind that the waters are deemed dirty… it has other attractions for kids. during the weekend, it is a full fledge family park and not so much a ‘pah toh’ park. the playground which is a mainstay is a big hit always with the kids..so it was clever of them to bring the concert here.

after the heavy downpour on saturday, it was a relief the clouds held up and weather was good on sunday. the ground was still wet..and silly us, we forgot to bring a mat! we sat for a while on the damp grass before a kind family offered us their extra mat.

the place was a hive of activities..there was the stage where the performances were held, and also booths for face painting,balloon sculpting, and clay painting.

it was a nice wrap up to the weekend.
