Lost my muchness, have i?

after i posted an AliceinWonderland reference on my FB status, a friend said there is a meaning to muchness..

battle

“much·ness
Pronunciation: \ˈməch-nəs\
Function: noun
Date: 14th century
: the quality or state of being great in quantity, extent, or degree”

we watched the movie on saturday. i loved it. i thought it was too short.
the husband didnt enjoy it as much, but maybe coz he didnt really read the book when he was a kid. love the madness and the characters and lines from the book brought to life by really good actors in the show. i am not too enamoured with the actress who acted as Alice, but more with Helena (queen of hearts-she’s so good, evil AND humanly vunerable) and Depp (nothing too new or surprising but we love him nevertheless, dont we?). after watching rachel getting married on dvd, i had a newfound respect for Ann.H, and this movie cemented it for me. i also love all the animation characters, the talking animals -the hookah smoking caterpillar, the cheshire cat, and the rabbit.

another reason why i love it;

“At its very heart, “Alice” is all about the timeless quandary of reconnecting with one’s “muchness.” That inner, honest, one-of-a-kind sense of who we are.”

is it a dream or is it reality question is brought up again and again by Alice. and also, is she THE Alice?

this line in the movie got to me, “how can i be the wrong Alice if the dream belongs to me?”

this one is going to be in my wishlist now;

curioser

go down the rabbit hole now, if you have not already.
